Our highly trained staff consists of 3 certified Laboratory Technician and IT-lab support System ( LabTrak ).
LabTrak is a network of computers that store, share, and display digital information taken in diagnostic laboratory tests. After an analytic procedure, the result and interpretation are immediately available for viewing via our secure computer network, the unavailable tests in Royal Rattanak Hospital are send back to Bangkok Hospital in Bangkok, the analytic processes are performed and the expertise interpretes the result and report back or the doctors in Phnom Penh. The Laboratory Unit at Royal Rattanak Hospital is open 24/7.

As the international standard leader in in-vitro diagnostics, we provide a wide range of rapid, reliable tests for disease screening and diagnosis in Royal Rattanak Laboratory Unit, offering healthcare professionals actionable information of the right type at the right time and place.
We use the Laboratory equipments, Cobas 111 Analyser from Roche Diagnostics provide for blood serum testing, clinical chemistry, homogenous immunoassay testing and utilize parameters such as cardiac markers, blood glucose and blood gases in the emergency room or in the intensive care unit.

The external quality control program (EQCP) and the External Quality Assessment in Clinical Chemistry (EQAC) for Royal Rattanak Lab (EQCP) was launched with a view to evaluating and improving the performance of official quality control laboratory of Thailand with technical assistance and support from Roche Diagnostic and Mahidol University in Thailand.
