Bangkok Hospital
Our 16-storey, 550-bed facility is an expansive state-of-the-art medical campus providing comprehensive medical care through multidisciplinary teams of highly trained specialists. Bangkok Heart Hospital
Her Majesty the Queen Sirikit graciously presided over the grand opening ceremony in 2005 of Bangkok Heart Hospital which was formerly known as Bangkok Heart Institute (established in 1989), a dedicated department at Bangkok Hospital.

Today, Bangkok Heart Hospital is Thailand’s first private heart hospital. With a reputation for providing excellent care for all types of heart diseases by specialists ranging from full time adult and pediatric cardiologists including cardiac surgeons, anesthesiologists, rehabilitation physicians and radiologists, we strive to maintain our high international standards of services implemented with state-of-the-art medical technology and facilities.

The Bangkok Hospital group extended its medical services on 11 August, 1992 under the name of Bangkok Hospital Phrapadaeng and has been ISO 9002 certified.

Our 5 story-medical 100 bed facility is equipped with modern technology such as CT Scan, 3D Ultrasound, Mammogram, Gastroscope, Colonscope, Optomicroscope, Internal Oral Camera, and Laparoscope.

BNH Heritage of caring,
OVER 100 YEARS OF MEDICAL EXPERIENCE CARING FOR THAIS AND EXPATRIATES

The BNH hospital, formerly known as the Bangkok Nursing Home Hospital, was established originally to provide nursing care for expatriates. The hospital, opened by the British Ambassador to Thailand, Mr. George Grenville, CMG in 1898, was one of the first private hospitals in the Kingdom of Siam. In 1901, King Rama VI granted the BNH Association, a non-profit making organisation, a royal charter in honour of his father, King Rama V, and provided funds for the hospital to extend its care to Thais. In 1991, the BNH Medical Centre was formed to establish a new international standard hospital to meet the demands of the increasing domestic and international market for private health care. The new BNH Hospital complex became operational in 1996.
